Organised by the Hong Kong Food Council, it had been the 3rd Hong Kong Food Fiesta that showcased 170 booths of various packaged and cooked food at the Fa Huen Park in Mongkok.
It was a 5-day event that consisted of a kick-start ceremony and cooking demonstration.

Mr. Cheung Ching Mak, well-known actor was invited to be the ambassador of this event. He was arranged to advocate the event at the press conference, the kick-start ceremony as well as toured around the booths to arouse publicity.
Publicity was vital to this event as it was open to public for free. A press conference was organised a week before the event to generate sufficient publicity. There must be a considerable amount of visitors during the first few days and spread the word-of-mouth and induced traffic for the remaining days.
